Reclaim is a ministry for reclaiming the hearts of men. This weekend we hosted our first leadership intensive led by Dan Sharp of Real Ministries in Erie, CO.
Dan’s heart is to help men “go deeper” by taking their faith to the next level as leaders, husbands and fathers. The theme of the weekend was “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.”1 Corinthians 16:13-14 NIV
7 men spent 3 days diving into what it means to reclaim our identity, heritage, legacy and destiny in Jesus.
This was not a light hearted teaching – God used Dan to deeply challenge us to take an honest look at our lives and evaluate what we say we believe with how we are living. We were taught how to live as “more than conquerors” and to recognize the power men have to speak “life” and “truth” into the lives of others and how it will ultimately shape our legacy.
On Saturday we celebrated our journey with a formal dinner and commemorative gift for each man.
On Sunday we had a mountaintop experience where we created an action plan and had communion with Jesus asking Him to help us remember the truth of who He is and whose we are as sons of the King!
Pray that these men will take the truths learned back home and live it out!
