Reclaim is a ministry that reclaims the heart of men by introducing men to Jesus Christ and who He created us to be as men. We do this by leading men into the wilderness, so that they can encounter the Truth (Jesus), so that they can reclaim their hearts, so that they can live on purpose.
We are headquartered in Conifer, CO a small mountain town about an hour southwest of DIA in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. We’ve been given a free lease to utilize a family owned ranch in Conifer. The ranch house was abandoned and in need of complete renovation, which we’ve been working on for the past 3 years.
As Reclaim gains momentum both here and abroad we are making a push this summer/fall to finish some key projects on the ranch. We are doing this in order to utilize the facilities here more quickly and free up my time to further invest into sharing the message of Reclaim and develop our programs and resources.
We have several key projects we want to finish by early October that include: building decks, hanging / finishing drywall, painting, flooring, landscaping and finish carpentry work.
Here is how you can pray:
- pray that God would send us the workers needed to move these projects forward to completion
- pray for physical and spiritual protection for all of the workers that come. Our leadership team has witnessed firsthand the type of danger that can come when engaging the battle for a man’s heart.
- pray that God would go before us and prepare hearts to receive the truth of Jesus. We’ve already seen two men give their lives to Jesus as a result of sharing the gospel with men as we work together!
Here is how you can be involved:
1. Join one of the following Reclaim service teams this summer/fall:
- August 9th – 13th
- August 16th – 20th
- August 23rd – 27th (group confirmed, still room to join)
- August 3oth – September 3rd
- September 6th – 10th
- September 13th – 17th
- September 20th – 24th
- September 27th – Oct 1st (group confirmed, still room to join)
We are praying for teams of roughly 4-8 men. Once we have enough people commit for a date we will confirm that group. If you are available for a range of weeks please check all of them that work for you and we will follow up with you. We can use your help regardless of your skill level, however please indicate your skill level or any specific skills or experience you have (general labor, electrical, plumbing, flooring, drywall, etc) when you sign up.
2. Sponsor a volunteer:
a. You can sponsor a volunteer to come if you personally are not be able to commit to joining a work team, but would like to enable someone else to do so. This entails covering a volunteer’s flight/transportation. This usually ranges from $250-$350. 3. Donate to cover food costs:
a. It costs about $50 per day to feed a 6 man team or $300 to cover each one of the proposed work teams this summer. If you’d like to invest in this way follow the instructions above to donate.
4. Assist in hosting a service team:
a. We need help in hosting teams, ideally we would have a husband wife team to join the service team to assist with setup, food prep, cleaning, laundry etc.
