What is truth? Why is truth important? What should the result or the effect of truth be in my life?
Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life” John 14:6 and “if you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free” John 8:31-32
Jesus IS the truth! Truth leads to freedom and life! Apart from truth there is no freedom.
If I’m not experiencing freedom in all areas of my life it’s time to start digging. What am I believing about God, myself or my circumstances that is preventing me from experiencing life and freedom?
If truth leads to freedom then what do lies lead to? In a word: slavery
When you look around you what do you see? People experiencing freedom and life that comes from being set free by truth? Or people living in pain and bondage the comes from not knowing or rejecting the Truth? When you look at your own life what do you see?
There are only two things I can believe: truth or lies. Truth is the answer that will lead me to true freedom! What are you believing today?
